In this article Margaret Butler and Russell Griggs from BioScience Laboratories discuss the recent history of temporary policies that enabled the increased supply of hand sanitizers, specifically alcohol-based hand rubs (ABHRs), and the subsequent removal of these policies. More importantly, they discuss the implications for companies that did produce ABHRs under these temporary policies.
