Water testing is comprised from multiple tests that are intended to assess the quality of water used for pharmaceutical purposes. Water is widely used as a raw material, inactive ingredient, medicinal vehicle, and solvent in the processing, formulation, and manufacture of pharmaceutical products (dosage forms), active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), API intermediates, compendial articles, and analytical reagents, as well as cleaning applications.

Nelson Labs performs multiple water testing such as Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Conductivity, pH and Particulates in compliance to USP <1231>, Water for Pharmaceutical Purposes.

If microbial content and chemical purity water test is needed, we also offer additional Water System Validations & Monitoring. Water system validations & monitoring tests are used to evaluate microbial content and chemical purity of water samples. Because water is a significant environmental component, microbial control is a requirement of all Good Manufacturing Practices.
